hiking at the Delaware Water Gap

and now for something completely different

Was in a small civil war-era fashion show this past Sunday afternoon, hosted by a funeral home that is sponsoring an exhibition of a replica of Lincoln's casket. I suppose it was at least a mildly historical activity.

Not done with generals yet, don't ask! Estimated completion date is the second week of November.

last night

I dreamt that I was frantically chasing five parakeets, a small red-and-green bird, and two hamsters around, trying to get them into cages.

In case you're wondering what that means, I have eight generals questions to answer by tomorrow at 3.

update

In case you were wondering why there hasn't been any activity on the blog, the paper I was working on was accepted, and so my general exams are currently scheduled to begin Oct. 17 and run for a period of 10 days or so. I am supposed to be becoming more prepared right now. It feels like running very fast just to stay in the same place, but I'm told that's the way it goes.
